IndiGo Airlines is a budget private airline of India. The idea of Rakesh Gangwal and Rahul Bhatia, Indigo has recently become international after finishing five decades of domestic services and getting the certificate to cater to international routes, as required by the municipal aviation rules in India.
The parent company of the IndiGo Airways, InterGlobe Businesses, has it's headquarter in Gurgaon, Haryana with IGI international airport in Delhi as its functional hub. It has won numerous prizes such as the famous Skytrack Best Low Price Airline Awards 2010.
IndiGo Airlines Fleet
Unlike other airlines which function a variety of different airplane, IndiGo Flights makes use of only one Aircraft, the 180 seater A320-200, for its functions.. IndiGo Airlines purchases only new airplanes. Currently, it has the navy of 48 A320-200 airplanes. Another 232 airplanes are set to be a part of its navy over a period of next 15 decades.

IndiGo Airlines has an extensive domestic network catering to locations like Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Imphal and Agartala in the North-East and in the rest of India it contains popular places such as Srinagar, Jammu, Delhi, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Indore, Lucknow, Patna, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Nagpur, Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Bangalore, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hyderabad, Chennai and Trivandrum. From Sept 1, 2011, Indigo Airways started its flights to worldwide locations of Dubai, Muscat, Kathmandu, Bangkok and Singapore. While Muscat would be linked specifically from Mumbai and Kathmandu from Delhi, the other three worldwide locations would be provided both from Mumbai and Delhi.
