Durga Puja is also known as Dussehra or Durgotsava. Goddess Durga is Worshiped in Dussehra. It is a Hindu festival that celebrates the victory of good over evil.

Durga Puja is celebrated in the month of Ashvin according to the Hindu calendar.This is a festival of 10 Days. Dussehra is the conclusion of the Navaratri festival. The whole country Delhi to Mysore and Gujarat to Bengal, celebrates this festival with full of fun.

Number of states celebrate Durga’s triumph over the evil spirit Mahishasur, while Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana the King of demons is celebrated in some states.
