Better known as "The Steel City", Jamshedpur is the biggest city in the state of Jharkhand. The city is nicknamed as "Tatanagar" due to the commercial leaders Tata Motors and Tata Steel. The Sonari Airport is the city airport which is undergoing construction. Jamshedpur receives unscheduled chartered flights from Delhi and Kolkata. The city airport will be fully functional from 2016 and then regular flights from domestic and international destinations from top airlines will be available.
